It is our passion and our duty to do more by offering superior, innovative, personalized end-of-lifecare to those who need it within the community. Hospice care is covered by the Medicare Hospice Benefit and is also an optional benefit under Medicaid and many private insurance companies.
Medicare requires that Hospice care is provided by a Medicare certified Hospice program; Ohio’s Community Mercy Hospice is a service of Ohio’s Hospice of Dayton and is a not-for-profit, community-based hospice supported by the community we serve. Thanks to the generosity of community support, we are able to provide care to all eligible patients regardless of whether their ability to pay.
